All sales are final
AVESTEIN sells software licenses that are delivered instantly: your license key is emailed and shown on screen the moment your payment is confirmed, and it can't be "returned". For that reason we don't offer refunds or exchanges, including for change of mind or for buying by mistake something you already had a different way.
Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for AVESTEIN purchases and collects any sales tax or VAT. In some cases Stripe may refund a purchase itself, for example where consumer law in your country requires it. When an order is refunded, its license keys stop working.
Every AVESTEIN plugin can be tried free for 3 days, in full. Please try it on your own computer and in your own host before you buy.
Your right of withdrawal (EU, UK and similar laws)
If you live somewhere that gives consumers a right to withdraw from online purchases (such as the 14-day right in the European Union and the United Kingdom), that right doesn't apply once digital content has been delivered with your consent. At checkout you ask us to deliver your license immediately and confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal. That is why the sale is final.
When we do help
- Charged twice. If a mistake on our side or a technical fault charged you more than once for the same order, we refund the duplicate.
- It can't work on your computer. If a plugin doesn't work on a computer and host that meet its published requirements, contact us. We'll try to fix it first; if we can't within a reasonable time, we'll refund that plugin and revoke its license.
- The law says so. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card company, the license keys of that order are revoked while the dispute is open, and permanently if it's decided in your favour. Please contact us first: we answer quickly.
